Bio:   Shannon Starkey is a Realtor with the sales team of Howard Hanna Premier Properties by Barbara Alexander, LLC, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. As a member of the National Association of Realtors, the West Virginia Association of Realtors, the North Central West Virginia Multiple Listing Service and the Morgantown Board of Realtors, Shannon has access to many tools to assist you in your real estate needs. Specializing in first-time home buyers & sellers, Shannon guides the process through to completion while educating her clients. She was awarded as a Million Dollar Producer her first year in the business in 2003 and has surpassed those accomplishments in subsequent years. Her market area extends beyond Morgantown throughout Monongalia County and into Preston, Marion and Taylor counties. She is also well versed in the local rental market working as a leasing agent at one of the largest apartment complexes in the area.

A lifelong resident of Morgantown, Shannon is a graduate of Morgantown High School and attended West Virginia University. Her past experiences include underwriting Title Insurance for West Virginia and surrounding states and as an entrepreneur owning her own Nail Salon. Shannon is also involved in her community as a member of her church and volunteering with the local soup kitchen, helping with the Partners in Education program sponsored by her company and has served on the Board of Directors for RDVIC and Mon County Habitat for Humanity.

Shannon has earned the designation of GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute), which is recognized nationwide as the standard for real estate professionalism and knowledge. Such topics as taxation, appraisals, financing and technology were covered. Shannon believes in the importance of continuing education as a means to stay in the top of her field.
